Orchid soil

Hey guys! I’ve just bought these beautiful mini orchid but from the little I know about them I thought it’d be better in bark or a loose soil whereas the soil it’s currently in is very compacted and hard. Does it look like it’ll survive like this a while longer or will I need to repot it asap? Thank you!! Roots look healthy but you’re 100% correct, they’d prefer orchid bark so they can breath better. I’d switch it over as soon as you’re able.

That looks like too dry moss to me. Soak it for about 10 minutes. I wouldn’t repot until it’s finished flowering.
