🌱 What is Greg?

Greg is a personalized plant care AI that puts plant care on autopilot. Use Greg to know when to water your plants, how much light they need, and when to fertilize.

⏰ What if my plant needs water before Greg recommends it?

If you feel your plant needs water before Greg suggests it, you can always water a plant early by visiting the Upcoming tab and swiping right on your plant, or tapping on it anywhere in the app and choosing the Water option.

πŸ””οΈ When will I be notified that my plants need water?

Notifications are sent on watering days between 8-9 am local time. If you still have plants ready for water later in the day, follow up reminders are sent in the afternoon..

πŸ”• Why am I not receiving notifications?

If for some reason you are not receiving watering notifications, make sure that you have reminders turned on in the app settings, and that push notifications are enabled in your phone notification settings.

πŸ’¦ How do I tell Greg I watered my plant?

Swipe Right on the plant you want to water from the Schedule tab or Tap the plant you want to water and select Water at the bottom.

🧠 How does Greg create my watering schedule?

When you add your plants Greg will send you watering recommendations based on the information you provide (light conditions, potting medium, etc), general information we know about plant types, and your local weather + seasons.

😱 I forgot to mark my plant as watered! What do I do?

If you ever forget to mark a plant as watered, there’s no need to worry. Tap on your plant anywhere in the app and tap the three dots in the top right. Select Edit Details and you can update the Last Watered date as needed!

🌳 Does Greg support outdoor plants?

Greg factors in all outdoor conditions except for precipitation or wind. If it rains heavily and your potted plants get showered, they should be marked as watered.

You can share your account by signing in to the same account on 2 different devices.

πŸ“ How do I change my location?

To change your location, tap your user avatar in the top left of any tab and select the pencil icon. Under Geolocation, you'll be able to update your location.

🌎 How do I hide my location?

To hide your location, tap on your avatar from any tab and tap the pen icon next to your user avatar, the option will be listed beneath Bio.

πŸ‘» How do I make my profile private?

To set your profile to private, tap on your avatar in the top left of any tab and then tap the pen icon in the center. The option to private your profile will be listed beneath Geolocation.

To delete your account, tap on your avatar in the top left of any tab and then tap on the hamburger menu in top-right. Then tap on "Settings" and then "Delete Account".

⛔️ How do I cancel my subscription?

On an iOS device:

  • Open your iPhone Settings app
  • Tap on Your Name/Apple ID, iCloud, Media & Purchases
  • Select Subscriptions
  • Select the Greg subscription
  • Tap Cancel Subscription to disable it from auto-renewing at the end of the current billing cycle.

On an Android device:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap the profile icon in the top right
  3. Select Payments & Subscriptions
  4. Tap Subscriptions
  5. Select the Greg subscription
  6. Tap Cancel Subscription to disable it from auto-renewing at the end of the current billing cycle.

⭐️ I got a QR code with my plant, how do I redeem it?

To redeem your QR code, just point your phone's camera towards the code and tap the link that appears. Create and account and the promotion will be automatically applied 😁.

To ask a question, visit the Community tab and tap the notepad icon in the top right corner and select Ask Question. Make sure to tag your plant and use hashtags (ex. #Philodendron #YellowLeaves) so the people who can help you best can find your it!
