📊 Taking a poll! ✂ Should I cut the bloom stalk? 🤔

I rescued this plant three or four months ago and it was a wilted stem cutting that had fallen off next to the mother plant which was close to dying from lack of sunlight.

I didn't realize that the majority of the cutting was actually a a bloom stalk! 😍🙌🏽 🌱🌸

I'm trying to decide whether I should cut it off... 🤔 I've had great experience with the growth rate of succulents from cutting the bloom stalk right before the buds open.

💦 I was thinking I could enjoy the flowers by putting the bloom stalk in a vase of water - has anyone tried that before?

Oooh!! I would cut as soon as the flowers have started opening. That way you’re sure you’ll actually get to enjoy the flowers… 😉🪴🌸🌺
I vote yes
That’s very interesting. I never thought of putting succulent flowers in a vase to let them bloom 😮 or even just to survive for a couple weeks like normal flowers. If you’ve had success with the succulents growing after chopping the flowers, I’d say go for it! I’d love to see the fate of the flower stem too. 😊🌿✨
I'm with them ^^^

@roxyvivien I vote yes as well.

The votes are in! I chopped off her bloom stalk and she's sitting pretty in her vase 😍🌱🌸
@BeesZenGarden Looks like I caught the blooms just as they're beginning to open 🙂 I hope they all open up with a little sun & water... We'll see!
@BeesZenGarden aren't they cute? 😍
@roxyvivien They are super cute indeed! 🤗
@roxyvivien I love it!!! Super cut! 🥰🌿✨ I wonder how long they will last now 🤔😁
I also vote to cut. 🌸
