Should I combine?

I recently got this little cuprea (tagged) and have one (photo) that I’ve had for probably a year. Backstory, it started to die, so I placed in water for like 8mos - don’t judge lol, I was too nervous to repot, even after seeing established roots. 🙈
Now that I’ve had my old one in soil for a few months, with 1 new shoot and no leaf drop- I’m wondering if/when I should combine them? #AlocasiaAddicts
