Provide a bright, indirect light โ˜€๏ธ Mist the plant once every week to keep it hydrated as well ๐Ÿค—
@kscape should I untangle it? Is there an up and a down?
@sarahsalith honestly, I donโ€™t think there is since many people around the world plant it differently! Some people place it in a hanging pot, some air hang, some place it on their trees to give them a mystical look, etc.

Also, personally I would untangle it gently for aesthetic purposes, but completely up to you ๐Ÿค—

Very pretty too, by the way ๐Ÿ˜
I know nothing except it gorgeous!!
So cool ๐Ÿ˜Ž
@sarahsalith I love love your window and the plants. Stunning ๐Ÿคฉ
@sarahsalith Partial sun is preferable. Direct hot sun will dry the moss, especially in indoor environments. Watering Spanish Moss is done like other species of air plants, through water baths or misting. In northern climates Spanish Moss can be moved outdoors during the warm season. Since we are in the south I guess you will be keeping it indoors.
I lived in Beaufort, South Carolina years ago. Spanish Moss was beautiful hanging from the trees. Love yours. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•
@Pegster I've though about hanging it in some of the trees to see how it grows. I'm not sure how it'll be when it's really cold outside, though.
@sarahsalith I have only seen it growing much further south. I found beautiful pictures of Spanish moss on trees in Beaufort SC.
@sarahsalith Spanish moss hangs from trees in Florida and it can get pretty cold sometimes with frosts - yours should be ok in trees, maybe take it in during really cold spats. Yours is gorgeous, should be ok too in the shower, it grows in very humid climates!! ๐Ÿฅฐ
