Where to hang our new string of pickles?

We recently acquired a string of pickles plant and are dying to hang it over our kitchen window, but I keep seeing conflicting information about how sensitive these guys are to drafts. Our windows are well sealed, but the window in question is about 7 feet from a vent for our HVAC, so it does get a bit of the hot or cold air depending on the season. Will that mess with Mr Pickles badly? #succulentlove #succulentsquad #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict
5” pot with drainage

Your pickle is gorgeous. You could put a deflector on the air vent and vent away from pickles if it would not cause a tripping hazard. You can place a saucer in larger diameter in the hanger with pot. This will also deflect drafts.
I think Mr Pickles should be just fine in n your kitchen window, it's far enough away from your HVAC vent
My pickles love bright direct light with frequent and lite waterings. I think that if you can easily lower it to check on it every two days uuntil you’re sure it’s doing well, then I say go for it. I think Stew Pickles would let you know if it wasn’t ok almost instantly. I’ve noticed that with mine. Keep in kind that we tend to spend most of our day walking through our kitchens. Not to mention that you can move the little levers on the vent to shift the direction of the air.

I Love your Pickles! Enjoy!
@Stall54Jo here in Texas we have ceiling vents, not floor ones, alas, so any sort of deflection wouldn't really do much good. But I can play around with the fins of the vent to make sure he isn't getting blasted.
That sounds like a good plan. πŸ‘
