#TheWateringHole Happy 😃 Sunday to all my #TheWateringHole friends! Hope you’re having a relaxing day enjoying your plants 🌱. I’ve enjoyed seeing everyone’s new purchases and plant successes. For those of us on the no plant 🪴 purchasing plan, it’s all about celebrating the wins at home and avoiding the garden centers. Work is the main reason I’ve avoided plant purchases recently. Too tired and no time to shop! For my successes: 1. my purple haze aloe is sporting a bloom stalk 2. My rose quartz cactus 🌵, which I have been struggling to re-root, looks like it is producing my 1st ever cactus bloom! 3. My Bantel’s sensation snake 🐍 plant is finally rewarding me with some new leaves. 4. New pothos leaves unfurling! What are you celebrating 🙌 at your oasis today? Or maybe one flower specifically. I’m not sure how many yet but I’ve read that it’s rare for these plants to flower indoors in a natural setting. I guess it’s happy! . #hubbypickedagoodone #igotitright.

I was over dropping off some caladiums to family and a few friends and just had to share how beautiful they have gotten. Three or four actually have flowers! Which is so exciting to me. This is Abyt, my little mantis buddy. 😍😍🖤 He loves to "hang out" (see what I did, there? 😂) on Zenai, one of my two braided trees. I'm not sure if he actually lives ON her, but that is the only place I ever see him, so it's a fair enough assumption. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️😂 And yes, I'm almost certain it's the same mantis. Hello everyone, I hope you’re having a very good day. Here’s an update on my Chaste Tree. This is the tree that several weeks ago was shipped to me diseased and bug infested. I cured it and I believe it is healthy enough to be planted into the ground. So, this evening I put it in the ground. I am going to put some mulch around it tomorrow morning. Here are blooms from my, two, new Blanket Plants. When I first saw this plant among the real ones at a local grocery store I thought it was a fake someone left there. Turns out its real which makes it so neat I had never seen one like it.
