My new babies arrived today! The four I’ve been waiting for months to arrive; finally arrived! Yay! Then my Hoya surprise plants came today! The seller is amazing and I’m blown away by the amazing packaging and quality she put into this! I’m in love! 🥰 So excited, this is the kind of pee your pants excited! Yay! I’m so excited to get my Boswellia sacra outside and into the sun. She’s loving it. If you don’t recognize the plant name by the genius, it’s commonly known as Frankincense, the sacred frankincense. Frankincense is an amazing plant for its resin, otherwise known as “tears,” is considered the finest in the world; but for anyone who prefers to use homeopathic remedies, it’s highly recommended. I’ve had a busier day today; it’s been cooler, so I’ve been taking advantage and starting seeds for my family’s different gardens. Hopefully, they all make a decent start 🤞. I’ve had a couple of nights of frost, and all my plants I can’t cover have just bombed in leaves. Good morning plant friends, especially ficus moonshine and ficus plant lovers! Just wanted to share my gorgeous Ficus Moonshine BUSH with so much different variegation (in my bedroom under a Sansi 24 Watt Grow Light 💡) 😍 It started out as 2 seperate tiny little 3-4 inch bushes, one of which grew new baby branches and mini leaves. I recently combined them together when they outgrew both their pots to make it bushier. Now in a 7 inch pot — soon to be a floor plant and eventually a very colorful bushy tree — next to my Ficus Tineke Tree/Bush! 📣 Hey #GregGang, happy April! Spring has sprung in the West and I think it's lovely! Now it's time for another #GregGivesBackGiveaway! I was out working on some of my berries again when I stumbled upon this perlite that also contains silica. While some people may not be fond of silica, I personally prefer it and find it more beneficial than other options. In fact, I highly recommend it over nitrogen, which can be more detrimental to your plants than silica. I was so excited to be able to get out of the house today, and on the way home from the doctor, my mum stopped at a local nursery. She got some gorgeous little show stoppers! Then she just happened to magically find herself at checkout with a plant I’d be wanting for… forever! 🤔 Myers Asparagus Fern… ferns and I are just barely starting to like each other, they’ve been my sadly misunderstood plants that I sorely have attempted to understand… I’m sure they all have a few thorny - ferny fiddle head love hardships.. 🙃 (I know, me and side rants..) okay, it was so weird. We really had no idea who put the fern up there. I was in a separate part of the plants when I heard my mom laughing, saying, “It’s not hers and she didn’t know where it came from, but maybe I do?” I said no, but I want one! So my mom was an angel and just said…”it made itself into the cart. How could I say no? It was coming home with me whether or not we knew it.”… “so NOW stop cooing over the plants! I needed a grow light stand, so I built a tree 😅. All cedar from my brush pile and the joints are loose, using a rope to lock it in place like a marionette. Now I just gotta get it in the house 🤔... #growlights #diyplanter #interiordesign #urbanjungle

Not the best photo, and really a video would do it more justice, but here's my little plant corner I've got set up in my bedroom! I've got all my carnivores, including a nepenthes hanging by the window, a sarracenia on the second shelf, two Venus fly traps (one is blooming!), and two different kinds of sundews. I have these ceramic globes in dishes of water I'm trying out to hydrate the air next to the plants, especially the carnivores. I just stuck some hydrometers in there to monitor how it goes. Other plants in this photo include: Philo Ring of Fire, Calathea Makoyana, a hoya, a small philodendron (it was sold to me as a dark queen but idk) in water, a pink syngonium, a silver sword Philo, a silver owl snake plant, a peperomia russo, a pink princess Philo, and a black ninja alocasia. Hi guys!!! I know i look like a newbie, but i’m very much not. I had Greg a while back, and i recognize quite a few of you guys! I’m just going to tell my story here, if anyone would like to listen. :) I am a plant enthusiast. I had 50 plants at one point. Plants have been my favorite thing since i was 10. Some of you might recognize me by my old room. I had a tonnnn of plants when i lived with my parents. I moved out, an hour away, to go to college. I had my own room. It was beautiful. But i ended up falling into a bad state of mind, and i dropped out of college and moved in with my grandparents. I sold some of my plants before i moved back here. It was a really tough thing for me, but it was better for them. Within the last few months, i got so depressed that i genuinely couldn’t do anything at all. I have an open police investigation, i totaled my car, i ended up in the mental hospital, and i don’t even know how im still here honestly. But I am. Sadly, all the rest of my plants ended up dying. I just stopped taking care of them. I stopped caring. I never thought that would happen. Yesterday, I decided to finally go plant shopping. I got myself 5 cute plants, and now i feel like i have a piece of myself back. I’m excited to get my room back into looking like a jungle. I’ve missed that a lot. Here’s my old room, my college room, and finally, my brand new plants. Here’s to a new beginning!
