Just wanted to share one of my favorites :)
My parents planted this Japanese Red Cut Maple Tree in 1988…. Yes she’s really 38 years old. And I’ve watched it grow for 23 of those years now. She’s only gotten more beautiful. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PropagationStation #SucculentLove #PlantTherapy #GrowLights #NewPlantMom #OrchidLovers #PetsAndPlants #PlantLove

@Alucen I feel so connected to this tree😅 this photo was from right before last winter started. She’s pretty healthy overall, but we started doing huge Christmas/halloween displays and unfortunately forgot to unwrap the lights from her trunk. I believe there is some damage. I have since removed all lights. I’ll wait for her to hopefully callous over. I’m determined to get her back to 100%. She’s probably at 85% right now.
@Succulent_Soul winter sunsets here are 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 I prefer over the summer ones
@Bmd yess
Aww, @Bmd my parents planted a different tree in their garden for me and each of my sisters. Mine is a birch bark cherry tree, which has a similar color to your red maple. Love our special trees 🥰
@DreamMachine I love that Nadia! Yes, definitely love our special trees:) My parents chose the red maple because it’s one trunk develops into multiple limbs and so on and so fourth. To them is symbolized the creation and growth of a family. And 12 kids later, it did just that 🥰
@Bmd wow, big family! I love that symbolism :)
@Bmd definitely love our special trees! 🫶🏽 a lot of these trees and plants in my yard were planted as a memorial after someone in the family passed. @DreamMachine that’s awesome I try to give people young fruit trees when they have a baby, sadly most apparently don’t know what to do with it or just simply just don’t get it or understand the concept 🙄 dying breed we are
@OhGollyItsJolly I know, in elementary school I never understood the blank looks when I would ask people what kind of special tree they had 😅
