pic #1 randomly, after 2 days of watering, this random stem grew out of no where!! i was so excited but also worried because how would it survive being so long and flimsy.. well now pic #2 it fell over and the little leafs fell off of it but it’s still green and growing?!? should i cut it??? i’m not sure what to do about this #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NewGrowth #HappyPlants #PlantTherapy

Or maybe one flower specifically. I’m not sure how many yet but I’ve read that it’s rare for these plants to flower indoors in a natural setting. So after a disappointing day at work. I decided that I was finally going to drive over to Home Depot. I hate driving on that side of town. If bumper cars and the Indy 500 had a baby it would be that side of town. I have been seeing all over Facebook that Home Depot had Hoyas. They do!!!! 😍 So many at different prices. I didn't find the one I was looking for but I did pick up some cuties. I also got a echeveria article frost at Lowes the other day. I saw a woman on Facebook that used a metal ring as a trellis for a hoya. I attached it with the hook. I just wish I could find somewhere to hang it 😕. I was over dropping off some caladiums to family and a few friends and just had to share how beautiful they have gotten. Three or four actually have flowers! Which is so exciting to me. This is Abyt, my little mantis buddy. 😍😍🖤 He loves to "hang out" (see what I did, there? 😂) on Zenai, one of my two braided trees. I'm not sure if he actually lives ON her, but that is the only place I ever see him, so it's a fair enough assumption. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️😂 And yes, I'm almost certain it's the same mantis. When I first saw this plant among the real ones at a local grocery store I thought it was a fake someone left there. Turns out its real which makes it so neat I had never seen one like it. Cleaning? So, I never paid a bunch of attention to if and how dirty my plants were. Until today. ☹️ I went to water my Pink Princess and was horrified. Dirty, Durty, Dirty!!! It’s only been a week since I got my new gloves and plant wipes- and cleaned for the first time, and I shouldn’t be surprised as all my plants are out back on the patio….but wow. So- sat out there cleaning all the plants (well, not the cacti!). Look at this dirt!! Gloves and wipe from just 2 plants are both - gross. My sister is moving into a new house and when I went inside to have a look around I saw this staggered shelf table in a corner. I commented that I've been looking for something just like it to put in my living room so I can move my monstera and a couple of other plants over to the windows (they've been living on my kitchen counter). AND SHE TOLD ME TO TAKE IT!! 😍😍😍 It's obviously built to be a corner table BUT I'LL MAKE IT WORK! 😂 I'm now considering mounting a moss pole to the wall for Athena. 🤔🤔 What do you guys think?? I’ve been doing some land mapping over the last week or two to get an idea of what it will look like when I finally get my apple orchard going with some really cool peach trees! So any fruit-growing people, please let me know any tips, tricks, or what you do to encourage the growth. I got a wild line and went maybe a little apple crazy. Happy Monday! I purchased my White Queen Caladium as a tuber (photo attached). Therefore, I’ve had the pleasure of watching the growth completely from start to finish. I noticed a couple weeks ago that there was some growth that didn’t look familiar to me. Keep in mind this is my first caladium ever. I let the plant do its thing and I just watched. But every day I would look at the “weird” growth and think….. why the heck won’t this leaf unfurl. Until this morning. It dawned on me. Is it possible my Caladium is blooming? AND CLICK. I THINK THATS EXACTLY WHAT IS HAPPENING.
