Good morning to all so I’m a Home Depot girl because I like to see my plans to check them out and touch and fill them before I purchase so I purchased things from Home Depot sometime this week maybe February 5-6❤️❤️ and I’m new to the #manjula #pothos so if anybody can help me figure out why time of the leaves are yellow and how to take care of them our greatly appreciated🐞❤️

MOSS POLE UPDATE: I forgot to post that I repotted and made a longer different moss pole for my Snow Queen Pothos ON November 28th, 2025. I actually cut the vine in half and put the newer half on the new moss pole. The new leaves have gotten WAY bigger! The moss pole I made is also WAY bigger. It’s half my size! The first photo is one of the first leaves it grew. The second is how much bigger the newer leaves are now! The third photo is the old pot and pole. The fourth photo is the new pot and pole as well as how tall the pole is compared to me!(I was in my PJs so excuse how I look lol). Fifth photo is me showing off the variegation! I love it! Hey plant lovers! I’ve been searching for the alocasia Amazonia ‘bambino’ but could not find a legitimate seller! So, I went to perch (my favorite store) and saw a alocasia Polly which are VERY close to bambino! Perch never disappoints me. Here are some of the things I saw as well and wanted! For 72 dollars I saw a queen anthurium (A. Waroquenum) that was HUGE! I would have impulsively bought it ONLY if I didn’t know the problems with this plant (humidity, temp, etc.) which I do not have the perfect conditions. Saw a ROF philo and actually a couple, which they are cool! I love Jess’s (perches owner) pothos wall which never disappoints, and saw a cebu blue pothos but since it’s that silvery blue color that so many of my plants have I didnt buy. Ficus selection today was good, saw tineke Audrey and fiddle leaf which was cool! I saw a cool A. Magnificum x silver blush in the humidity box which was AWESOME but was 50 dollars ☠️ in there saw a anthurium clarinervium which was 40 dollars not bad and a monstera Thai con which was 50, so not that bad. Saw a lot of singonuims and cathlea! I saw painted lady philodendron and tons more! More pictures from my photo shoot I had Sunday afternoon when I got back from the beach ☺️. How I know summer is over: having to bring all of the house plants inside. 😩 We're *finally* dropping into the upper 40's at night, so it's time to bring in the remaining plants, mostly the spider plants. This thing has gotten huge! She has a bajillion babies that I don't know what to do with. My Marble Queen/Snow Queen pothos have also shot up their moss poles. The variegation on them is 🤌 perfection, truly. Good morning #TheThread , it’s Sunday so you know what time it is! WELCOME TO THE… #PlantRant ! Today we are talking about “easy to care” houseplants. First off, spider plants. Nontoxic lil plants, but pack A PUNCH. If you don’t give them water that is chlorine free and filter with plant product, you’ll be in for brown leaves, and slow growth. Additionally if you don’t give them sun that’s brighter than the sun itself then you are in for NO GROWTH. Peace Lilly sound peaceful but are NOT. NOT ANYTHING BUT THAT. You have to STAY UP AT NIGHT for it to be semi happy. But this one has a code that I have not cracked yet. I know @SleekLatetulip has a BEAUTIFUL PEACE LILLY. It’s just a code to crack and even for “PrO hOuSpLaNtErS” they are still trouble. Monsteras are a walking fave and game show to see how perfect you can water them. Again, love these plants, brothers to my all time favorites PHILODENDRON. And we will catch up on them later, but I have lost 2 which is way to many leaves on my beloved cloudy. It’s a 50/50 between over and underwatering. It’s just another code to crack. Pepperomia or as I call them pepperoni plants are such divas. See those yellow leaves? That’s them. It also comes with an invitation of pests! They just love dropping leaves so much. Not getting one again. Now onto “the best newbie houseplants” The zz plant is famous for a reason, having those gorgeous stems that shoot up and up, and they can go ANYWHERE. The one dark corner of your room that needs a little pop, ZZ IT UP! Your desk, ZZ IT UP! Bathroom? ZZ IT UP! These plants have one flaw which is they are very tall. But that’s fine! We love huge growth here! Next is the pothos, like Hoyas but want them easy and aggressively grow? Theres your boy! Grows literally on WALLS. Climbing plant level 1000. Best one yet and never gives me problems except most are variegated. And mine just is like. Yeah I’m next to the sun but I wish I was INSIDE the sun. It’s ridiculous how much sun they need to varigate. And then there’s those leafs literally in the DARKNESS and they find a way to varigate like what do you want? Philodendron are just that one plant that is just so hardy. If you try to kill it it will miraculously come back. Wow and so many different kinds, personally I love all, but for beginners id bet that the brasil is the easiest. No trouble variegating, just stick it somewhere and watch it grow. And speaking of hardy philos, Silvia has been realived! If that’s a word and now it is. I just propped her and one month later she is here!
