Hello everyone, I hope you are well. Here is my rubber plant. Is about six years old and grew to a height of 6 feet. Unfortunately, this winter it was annihilated by an extended frost we had in Central Florida. It was too heavy for me to move, to safety, so every evening I covered it up with multiple long blankets. Despite my best efforts, it was hit hard. While trimming it back, about a month and a half ago, I discovered there was new growth under all the dead stems. It’s growing back with a vengeance. They kept begging me to leave Mom, and have their own place, so I put all 3 sisters Together ❤️ and relented. "Donna" Mama Plant has had these 3 babies soo long and 1 was growing in a corn plant so I put all sisters together with Mom nearby, so she can still Monitor her children. #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #newgrowth #propagationstation #succulentlove #planttherapy #growlights #newplantmom #petsandplants #monsteramonday #plantcorner #beforeandafter #

I normally don’t do a veggie garden at my house and generally stick to growing fruits and herbs, but this year I decided to reuse some retired recycled old bins. I lost like half the screws, and they look utterly terrible. Luckily, no one can see them in my backyard behind my old shed (built in 1947) and my greenhouse. I was worried about finding a way to keep my blackberries away from tomatoes and/or my raspberries away from them as well. Being in the nightshade family, they will not grow well together. 😬🤦‍♀️ With that being said, I’m so excited, we are already getting peppers, we have the cutest tiny orange tomatoes. With a bell pepper 🫑 that looks like the cutest little bum cheeks you wanna pinch! 🤏 or a giant green tooth. 🦷 😂 But the patch next to them, as some needs I needed to plant up.. so we’ll see, purple broccoli, artichokes, and some crock neck lumpy squash (my favorite thing to fry up in summer). Good morning planty people of #TheWateringHole ✨🌿🫶 It is Monday, and I’m busy hurrying around watering everyone outside, as it’s lovely and 60° right now, but we’re supposed to get up to 85°, and if you know me, that is hot, hot, HOT 🥵 I am hoping to get back into the swing of regular posting, but I just had a very couple busy weeks, with picking up a regular shift at work, a trip to the coast 🌊 , and we’re getting into the last couple weeks of school for my kiddo. 🏃🏼‍♀️🍎⏰ But BIG NEWS!! We are on #pedunclewatch !!! 😱🥳🤩 Since I got into hoyas last summer, I’ve only had the start and subsequent blasting of a couple peduncles on one hoya, my crassipetiolata, but it was just the beginning of winter, and he got too cold and gave up on them. 🥶😔 Who’s the contender this time? My sweet Hoya ‘Bella,’ whom I got only last month, as a cutting in perlite, from my hoya lady on FB marketplace!! Bella is STILL in that cup of perlite, I didn’t get a chance to pot her up yet, and she has 3, count em’ THREE pedunkadunks starting 😱😮‍💨🤯🤩 As my photos will be peduncles, I’ll add my bountiful morning’s strawberry 🍓 harvest photo in the comments, along with my Mother’s Day snapdragon bloom, and my dahlias (not in bloom yet). How’s everyone’s Monday? Any blooms or new growth that you’re excited about? Any struggling? Hey guys, thank you for all your help and support! Alright, I completely caved and finally got two little cuties that I’m really hoping to just as healthy as the photos! @Jho was kind enough to show me this seller a while back, and I decided alright let’s do it! First is a variegated billietiae, and second is a caramel marble fire tiger 🐅 Then I’m so excited to find a variegated piper nigrum! (Aka a black peppercorn plant!) I have a regular peppercorn vine that is climbing with my vanilla, so I’m excited to add this to my other variegated vanilla and now variegated peppercorn! Yay! Hello everyone. I saw this tree today. It was flowering and had dozens of bees 🐝 on it. Very cool. The Greg plant ID says it is a “ Chaste Tree”. Does anyone have another ID for this wonderful plant/tree.
