Fingers crossed! Btw I like your nails. πŸ™‚
@LeadChincactus thank you! ☺️
@iHasCheeks it works just need to have patience I did this one two years ago with one leaf
@iHasCheeks It’s definitely a root! πŸ™ŒπŸŽ‰πŸŒ±
@iHasCheeks It does take quite some time for the roots to develop. But you could stick a cutting from a Golden Pothos in with it this could potentially help with the roots growing faster.
I SEE it!! πŸ‘€ lol. It takes forever. I forgot about mine, and found roots 3 months later πŸ˜‚
Nice did you put it in water? Or place it in soil?
@Ms.Persnickety thank you for the suggestion. 🫢🏼 I’ll add one in this weekend and hope it speeds up some more root growth.
@GemWaxvine23 this one has been in water for about 2 months. I haven’t tried in soil yet.
The patience is so real for a snake plant
Question on the cutting as I'm eager to try this method as a new plant daddy. Did you let the cutting dry up a bit 3-5 days before placing in water? I've been deep diving and saw a few videos that mentioned doing so.
@iHasCheeks , how did you have it in water? propped up in water, or laying in water? I'm interested in trying.
@SlinkyBalsam I propped it up. I used a glass yogurt container πŸ˜… it’s the perfect size and easy to clean out every day.
@iHasCheeks thanks I might have to try this.
@SlinkyBalsam you can try plastic wrap to hold it just above water so it isn’t completely submerged
@SlinkyBalsam @GemWaxvine23 I’ve also seen people use some small foam pieces to hold it above the container’s opening. It keeps the bottom end hovering over the water.
Look at this growth y’all 🫢🏼
@iHasCheeks I like this sounds better
@iHasCheeks wow like at it go now that it’s there
These are definitely growing much faster now. 😁
