My Philo Billie hasn't given me a new leaf in quite some time. He has a little sheath that's been there and not growing for months. I have him in bright indirect light near a West window and I water when the soil is dry in the top 2 inches, usually when Greg tells me to. Should I be watering more? More light? He got repotted when I got him, which was quite some time ago but not too long, so he should not be rootbound or anything. He seems healthy just not much new growth! Any care tips for this guy are appreciated!! ๐

Id assume its more light by everything you said. But ill tag the philo master @Araceae maybe he has input.
@Elk thank you!! I love him also, that's why I wanna give him the BEST care!
@TheConservator thank you!! ๐ Maybe I need to add a grow light above this shelf!
@JesssJungle np hes a flipsider so hes prob asleep now just fyi
@plantstalker yes I'm thinking maybe more light could be the trick! I have a philodendron squamiferum that's under grow light and it's kind of ridiculous how much he grows. I did just notice some roots coming out of the dirt on my Billie so I may put more soil on top.
Honestly sometimes i feel even when top 2 in. dry is still a tad over. I like to wait till it's 40-50% dry from top at least.
Regarding the light, yes i'd say it could use more light. Light drops off at a incredible rate the further you are from a window, and heck billies are able to tolerate a full day of sun filtered by shade cloth [if you want to be extreme, when adjusted properly and watered on time they can do full sun]

Thank you @Araceae !! I didn't realize they liked so much light.
@JesssJungle generally most philos, monstera, alocasia and epipremnum like lots of light. They're just tolerant of lower levels [and apparently quite spoiled in the home environment]. With acclimation most aroids can tolerate full sun. Here in Singapore you'll find them happy and big in full sun, sometimes flowering and fruiting
@jessjungle have you fertilized it at all? More light and a gentle fertilizer usually does the trick!
