This week I want to focus on music and plants. The inspiration came for a singing in the shower surrounded by plants moment. However there is some scientific evidence that plants can benefit from music.
So my question is what is the one song that is your "go to" plant song (and don't just say something sing by Robert Plant!!)
It could be classical music (Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 21 second movement) or some rock and roll. Whatever it is why not share it? I can pick the best answer. And be creative so feel free to include a Spotify or Apple Music link 🔗 or what that piece of music means for you.
For me the song that comes to mind is blue (no not the I'm blue be ba daba da do song) but sing by a very young Lee Ann Rime# (her break out song)

The song that comes to mind regarding my relationship to plants is David Bowie’s “Loving the Alien”. So many of the plants I love best are indeed ‘alien’ looking—I think about nepenthes or string of pearls, for example. I've actually named all of my plants after women musicans and composers (edit: except for one and three others that I'm still thinking on) so as long as I'm not in a rush to tend to them, I get a little playlist in my head for each of my plants - usually just a song or two but it keeps things fun when tending to them. I'm just on my lunch break so I'll post some examples from my oasis later! Or you can take a guess 😁
Mr Blue Sky is definitely up there for me too (who doesn't love a dancing Groot?! 🥰) and long before GotG came out of mare me dance like Groot whenever I heard it anyway!! Lol 😂
I've been listening to a lot of Queen recently, it was my friend who passed away (Dottie)'s favourite band .. so I've been blasting Your My Best Friend, and Don't Stop Me Know a lot recently.... Both of which suit my little jungle! 💚 Especially Dont Stop Me Now! 🥳 I have a few... Like my E. Aureum, which are just shooting leaf after leaf at the moment 🌿🤩💚 xxx
