I ventured out this morning to inspect the plants before the sun becomes too intense and bright. I’m back inside now, but not before capturing a few photos. The greenhouse is incredibly humid this morning! The acclimating outdoor plants are looking remarkably better. We recently moved one Monstera to a place with less light. Despite the move, he's putting off like 3 new leaves ya'll! Two biggies and a small. How exciting! We'll move our other one outside for the summer once we start getting company. The guest room is the jungle room during winter months. 🪴 It really liked the outside world last year, so I'm hoping for the same result this year. It was a nub of mushy trash last year. Mother nature took over and made him the beautiful beast it is today. I'd really love to get my hands on an Albo, but I guess my Thai Constellations can satisfy that need, for now... hehehe. #monstera #monsteramob #happyplants #newgrowth

I’m so happy! My undulata is actually looking pretty good; this is one of my first ever Hoyas. I’ve heard these ones can be a little more tricky? Hello my loves 🫶🌿 Happy Tuesday #TheWateringHole , or should I say, happy #untidytuesday 😏 (It’s ALWAYS #untidytuesday at my house, ha ha ha! 😂😄…🥺😭😭 ) It’s been hot here, the last few days (80° F 🥵) and we are all looking forward to rain 🌧️ ☔️ tomorrow and in the 60°’s again, ahhh 🧘‍♀️. Plus that means I might not have to water anything outside 🤞🤞 I’ve been putzing around, doing planty chores, and checking on all my props from @IdPlantThat 🥰 Practically EVERYONE has been doing great 🙌 My new favorite method of propagating!: Perlite + a ziplock bag + my own hot air 🌬️ I live in a cool, wet climate, as most of you know already, and I had horrible luck with sphag. It always molds 🦠 instantly, or at least, within 12 hours 😵‍💫 I love this perlite + bag method because it is not inducive to mold growth, roots grown in perlite are more like soil roots already, and each bag is its own humidity box AND quarantine station! UPDATE My flowering young desert rose (Thar) has finally started to bloom, and after doing some research, I found that this little one might be an Adenium socotranum; which would explain why it looks so different from the rest of its seedmates. Honestly, I thought it was elongating despite being in full Florida sun 😅 (family photo below). This also means that there is a good chance that I wasn't ripped off and these little guys are in fact different species I just have to wait for another one to flower to be 100% sure. Good morning and happy Mother’s Day weekend! Shout out to all mothers and caretakers, Hope you all have a great time!☀️💐 Just sitting here absorbing sun like the plant I am, sipping coffee and wanted to show my little plant window and repotted begonia! I finally repotted that leggy begonia with all the cuttings I had taken from it! So far so good and they seem to be taking well so far! 🩷 Of course the main stem got taller again, so I might chop her top off again if she doesn’t behave. 🤣 #threat Everything is strategically placed in my odd S facing window, we’re still pretty socked in with big trees so during the high noon sun a cedar blocks most of that which is kind of nice in summer lol. From left to right I’ve got my calathea, (possibly too much light here but we’ll see) orchid (strategically placed on the bottom behind the Chemex 🤣 he’s got a new leaf coming in great!), polka dot begonia, dragon tree in front of it getting the most light, my sad but hopefully getting better maranta and the zebra plant underneath. I just had to share my kitchen plants; I’m so excited about these babies! That and my Prestonia quinquangularis is finally making her beautiful comeback! When she arrived, she had terrible travel shock, and I lost her to the point of a single stem. She’s finally looking better. I’m so excited. My majestic philodendron started opening into new, gorgeous, bigger leaves. I love my pink plants. So don’t be surprised if you see more pinks 🫶🏻🌸🩵🐾🪴 My citruses arrived today! So excited. It’s a Dwarf Buddha Hand Citrus Tree; Rio Red Grapefruit; Sunquat Tree; Marumi Kumquat; Fukushu Kumquat Tree; Eustis Limequat Tree, and then my caladium bulbs. I just checked on it and there are ALREADY ROOTS!! Like what??? 🤯 If it's really this fast I don't think I'll prop in water ever again. 😁👍

so Greg is telling me the plant that I repotted and thought was a tree and still think is a tree, they are saying it is spearmint?
