My offerings for today: 🌿 My #PhilodendronBillietiae’s gorgeous new leaf is almost finished with her big reveal! 🌿 The #Larkspur in my wildflower garden is blooming and putting on a real show 😊 🌿 Repost of the twin new leaves on my #Ficus Burgundy 👯♀️ They both appeared at exactly the same time! 🌿 I can’t resist sharing another photo of Benny, my resident toad. @TheOddAsity omg he is just so comfortable, I love it! He let me take the first one here this morning and the second one when I got home from work—he was sleeping, I think! Too cute. Third one I took just now. The pot is about a foot away from our sliding glass door, constant traffic in and out from me, my fiance and four dogs, and it doesn’t faze him one bit. I of course did some research bc I’m a nerd, and found out a healthy toad can live for ten years and they will return to the same places if they know they will have shelter, water and access to lots of bugs to eat. He has all three! I put him close to the porch light so he can nab as many bugs as he wants. This is his 3rd year here, and I think by now he is just used to me being all up in his face 🤣🤣🤣 he won’t let my mom or fiance near him, but he lets me as close as I want. Lol he’s staring at me right now as I type this 👀🐸🥰 Done rambling, i just love this stuff!
@Ms.Persnickety he has a veritable buffet of insects at his disposal since I put his pot near the porch light! Lol he comes out every night and eats a ton

and what a beautiful billietiae! they’re my current obsession plant. my partner had to stay super late at work last night for inventory, so i waited up for them and drew a billietiae😂😂
and ofc i ADORE the ficuses! all of my burgundy elastica props i took from that giant mother near my work have died 😂😂 i’m definitely gonna grab some more lol
but everything looks so happy and healthy; good on you!
