Not sure y’all are ready for this planty horror story…👻👹 I worked Memorial Day, so had a little extra holiday pay burning a hole in my pocket. 💸 I decided to use some of it to order a wishlist plant- The ✨✨ hoya heuschkeliana variegata✨✨ 🪴 Well…Anywho…. the flipping mailman put it ON THE GROUND against the GARAGE DOOR behind where we park!!! And my husband backed out and ran over it. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🙈🙈😭😭😭 Poor guy was mortified and texted me at work panicking. I finally unpotted today and it’s a mess. But as my dear friend @dreammachine reminded me, hoyas are rock stars of resilience. I dried my tears, repotted the best I could, and have her in a good spot with good soil, humidifier 💦 and grow light 💡. Fingers crossed, Hail Marys prayed, prayers sent up that she will hunker down and come soaring back like a phoenix 🐦‍🔥 rising from the ashes! 🙏🏼 Do you have any plant horror stories? #thewateringhole #mamalinne #hoya #hoyaddicts #plantfriendsarethebestfriends #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #GregGang

Hello everyone, it’s n again needing help So my neighbor knows I love plant but she overwatered a lot and the brings them to me to fix lol it’s really kind of her.🙏🏽 My delima she brought a prayer plant. Tomato plant, Basil, ponytail palm and a cluster of flowered begonias. 💀They’re all on their last leg and I don’t know if that can be saved. I really appreciate her thinking of me! Such a God send to get so many rescues at once! But I’m kinda at a lost🤷🏽‍♀️ Oh my! and flies galore! Came with them! 😢 My marigolds came dead; so I got seeds and looking for live ones. This has been a rough yr for me but I’m thankful she thinks of me but she think I’m a miracle worker 🤣 What can I do to save one or two if at all possible . Pictures below! Good morning planty people of #TheWateringHole ✨🌿🫶 It is Monday, and I’m busy hurrying around watering everyone outside, as it’s lovely and 60° right now, but we’re supposed to get up to 85°, and if you know me, that is hot, hot, HOT 🥵 I am hoping to get back into the swing of regular posting, but I just had a very couple busy weeks, with picking up a regular shift at work, a trip to the coast 🌊 , and we’re getting into the last couple weeks of school for my kiddo. 🏃🏼‍♀️🍎⏰ But BIG NEWS!! We are on #pedunclewatch !!! 😱🥳🤩 Since I got into hoyas last summer, I’ve only had the start and subsequent blasting of a couple peduncles on one hoya, my crassipetiolata, but it was just the beginning of winter, and he got too cold and gave up on them. 🥶😔 Who’s the contender this time? My sweet Hoya ‘Bella,’ whom I got only last month, as a cutting in perlite, from my hoya lady on FB marketplace!! Bella is STILL in that cup of perlite, I didn’t get a chance to pot her up yet, and she has 3, count em’ THREE pedunkadunks starting 😱😮‍💨🤯🤩 As my photos will be peduncles, I’ll add my bountiful morning’s strawberry 🍓 harvest photo in the comments, along with my Mother’s Day snapdragon bloom, and my dahlias (not in bloom yet). How’s everyone’s Monday? Any blooms or new growth that you’re excited about? Any struggling? Hi everyone, it's certainly been a while since I was here and I do apologise, just finished my kid terms and then had Eid a few days ago but don't fret not cuz I'm going to make it up to you. The stray black cat I've mentioned in some posts recently had kittens and so here's some pics of them while I celebrate my birthday today. Hello friends! I am so excited that an orchid I’ve been rehabbing for over a year is finally beginning to bloom! She took her time, and it’s worth the wait. I had forgotten what color she was! #freshleafoftheday! Got this medusa's head cactus as a rescue just over a year ago. She came with a mealy bug 🤢 the exact same colour as her downy stalks so I didn't see it at first and she lost two stalks before I removed it. The mealy bug was so gross! (I fed it to one of my carnivorous plants 😁) I'm so very thrilled to see she's making a comeback and just had to share. #newgrowth #newgrowthday #cactus #cactusclique #weirdplants #astrophytumcaputmedusae #medusasheadcactus #greggang #plantfriendsarethebestfriends #ballondusoleil
