Just identified this as an #italianarum. Can it grow root...

So, I pulled this out of the ground as gently and carefully as I could but accidentally tore off the roots and the little "ball" connecting to the roots. I think I tore it off really close to that zone, though. Will it grow back, or is it a loss?

Id say its a loss if it had a bulb on the bottom that you tore off. But it still doesnt hurt to try. Its very pretty. Be a waste to just trash it
@TheConservator ah, it was a bulb. I'll try to propagate, but I'll see what others have to say.
I’m not the best w it h house plants looks like some type of allocaisia. I’m tag some other @AnthuriumQueen @BabeVila
If it has no root ball/node, it won’t survive. Thanks for the tag, @TidyTigerpear 🌿
@TidyTigerpear it is an Italian Arum. I thought it was an alo, too, but I realized it had the little orange-red berries that the Italian Arum has. So not an alo.
