A few weeks ago the tip of a monkey tail broke off and now 5 are growing from it. Is this weird? Should I cut them off and plant them?

@DaringColtsfoot thanks 😁 your 26 look great too! Real talk.... 126 is at least 30 plants too many for me right now but the more I give away, the more I buy or propagate 🤦🏾♀️. It's the dopamine thing 😄. I'm working on it though. Trying to give what I already have its best life instead of spending 💰 on more. It's just so hard NOT to get happy in the nurseries and plant stores during house plant season 🤤😄
@slayonium Huh! That is very interesting 🤔. Thank you! I ALWAYS love to learn new things about my green babies 💚. And this one does grow pretty fast, I bought it in December and each stem has already grown 3 inches!
@Luvlilu 💯 same here! Honestly 50 or so plants feels just right for me, but it never stays that low for long. Definitely a dopamine thing. For me it’s a good lesson in enjoying the process at least as much as the product. I’m getting better at letting plants come and go (the go part could still use some work 😂)
@Ponytailmom I am proud of you! 😁 Only plant people (and possibly ex-smokers 😏) understand how hard it is to come back to a healthy place with this. I am learning what plants fit my atmosphere, my lifestyle, and my budget and I've been gravitating towards that way of thinking, living, and buying for a few months now. I'm also focusing on traveling and other hobbies too which helps to "scratch that itch" 😉.
@DaringColtsfoot you have to learn to say NOOOOO to the rehabs 😂 Give them advice and let them work it out themselves. I had to stop doing that because people just dump sick and dying plants on you that they really don't want back and then you're stuck spending time, energy, resources and emotions on a plant that you never wanted in the first place. I buy or trade for plants that I WANT. 🙅🏿♀️ No more scrubs! 😄
