Is this Mechanical or Pest Damage? 🌿🐛
When I got this plant, I noticed the leaves on my #Philodendron Golden Melinonii were a little scarred. I figured they were mechanical damage due to movement, packing and shipping, but they’re starting to get progressively worse.
I’ve never seen it this bad but I’m worried it might be something else as well. I’m currently treating a few plants for #thrips but this Philo is no where near those that are/were affected. They’re in a different part of the house. I checked for pests and any other damage and did not find any. Just the scars :)

@Stall54Jo i wish I had cats! 🥲 I do have doggies in the house but all my plants are on shelves and they can’t reach. Thank you though! 😁
@Stall54Jo i hope it’s not! If that’s the case, I hope plant proper didn’t bring thrips to my house 🫣🫣 I don’t think I’ve seen thrips do damage like this but now I’m scared haha
