The app isn't perfect. I unfortunately don't know what it is, but I have had the app guess my plants completely wrong. It's just based off what the app sees in the photo 🙂 you can easily change it and if you are 100% sure about a plant and it's not in the database, you can add it

I'll probably add the species anyway, since it doesn't seem to be available, though I can say it struggled to identify my other plants as well.

Yeah each time I try to identify it, I get different results that I think are closely related. Though this one was half dead in a hardware store and isn't in perfect condition, so that may be part of the issue.
