Tradescantia care?
This has to be a tradescantia, but I'm still unsure if it's a yellow zebra? I saw one that looked like mine in research that was a tradescantia albiflora variegata, so that may be it! Regardless, it was drowning when I found it, so I rescued it, but unsure of the care? There's a lot of sad browning leaves, is pruning these off a good idea? With tradescantias is it a best practice to trim regularly? I see most people's stems longer and the leaves are more spread out, is that more natural of a mature one? I know mine are just lil babies still, but I really like their fullness. Any advice would help!

I hope you figure out the name of your plant soon. I know you'll be glad to have it in your oasis correctly.
Tradescantias require regular pruning of the brown leaves. If you cut it back, it forces the growth back down toοΏΌοΏΌ οΏΌοΏΌthe stems and it can encourage new, more compact growth.
Your plant is definitely a more mature, fuller plant.
Keep in mind, when you cut your plant back, you can always put the cuttings right back in the soil and they should root!οΏΌοΏΌ π

Agree with @sarahsalith
Also...longer stems between leaves can mean they need more light. They are more compact with better (bright indirect) light. I have my good light side...the bad light side and the....leggy props below. All beautiful....but all obviously get different light.π€£π€£ same window...π€·ββοΈ

@apackwood possibly! The leaves are super delicate and almost translucent, thats what messes me up. I think it could be a tradescantia albiflora 'albovittata'!
@UnbiasedTree this is tough, theyβre soooo similar!
