I simply can’t believe how this echeveria has developed over the summer. I sowed this in spring of 2023 from a echeveria seed mix. This was one of the most remarkable, and has been a real joy for me this summer. #Echeveria #Succulents #SucculentSquad #NewGrowth

It is beautiful! 🀩 @CordialWildyam Jason!! It is a happy plant for sure. πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ˜
@CourtlyKingfern thank you!
Your Echeveria is gorgeous!😍
Wow, wow, wow, a very happy, gorgeous and healthy plant! Very impressive, as it takes forever to get it going from the seed! Well done, 😍
@MsPlantNewbie thank you, Cecy!
@Floristsdaisy thanks, Kira! I’m actually pleasantly surprised with how fast most succulents have grown for me from seed. The slowest have been the lithops, but most of the rest aren’t too different from more traditional plants I’ve grown. Of course, they’re variable from seed so I don’t get the crazy pretty hybrids that are usually grown as clones
This is definitely not a Pearl Echeveria
@vvvelo yeah, this is one of the earlier plants I entered, before I knew that Greg IDs just about everything as pearl echeveria
@vvvelo it’s also not β€œwhite storm” but Greg thinks that β€œecheveria sp.” is a specific variety so πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ
Still very impressive, as there are so many things that go wrong when growing from seeds (air flow, watering, pests and house pets).
Lithops only read on how to grow from seed, when I read the watering schedule, I understood it won't survive unless I set reminders on my phone. Yet to try my luck, since I purchased it some time ago.
Wow that is impressive!
