With succulents, that is the best way for propagation. Just lay your fallen leaves on top of the soil and let dry to callous; ever so misting it every couple of days. In matter of time, roots will develope and you’ll have new baby plants. Edit: I would suggest placing the leaves in a separate pot with succulent soil. Leave the leaves to dry for a couple days to callous. Mist with water a couple days later, the leaves will sprout roots and baby plants will emerge from them. After the older leaves have wilted and nearly disintegrated, that would be the best time to replant into new pots.
Yes! The fallen leaves will sprout roots and eventually babies! With the Missouri Foxtail Cactus, the fallen β€œleaves” will just become the new plant, sprouting roots and developing β€œleaves”.
