GOOOOD MORNING! Its finally FRIDAY. And im happy cause my anthurium luxerians x radians is here!!! I got mine from canopy co, and it was worth the wait! For 25 dollars, I already have 5 leaves which is insane! Also, just look at the leaves! Iāve always loved luxerian, especially for that mouthwatering textureā¦ and itās not silver somehow like all my plants! Also, the shipping was really fast even if I did have to pay 10 dollars for shipping, I mean I could just buy 3 plants at once for 10 dollars but I donāt think my wallet would agree š And some questions: Do I let it dry out throughly before watering like other anthurium? If so, then I can wait a bit. What type of soil do o need? More loose or dry or what? Humidity? Iām open for humidifiers, I just t want to know before buying! New plant but brown stems I bought this #Anthurium from a supermarket. I've already trimmed alot of dying growth that was either whilting or dried up. It seems very overcrowded. I'm quarentining it from my other plants, and have sprayed/wiped with neem oil/alcohol mix. Plus watered with 'Mosquito bit' water as I think gnats were present and that was suggested for another plant and it worked so well. After alot done to it in a short space of time, I don't want to repot yet, but are the brown stems a sign of rot? Many thanks!

I need to make a post about this because I screeched when I saw my emails. The plant shop I primarily order most of my plants from apart from my orchids (growtropicals) had a sale on their queen anthuriums. Do I already have one that I paid way more for? Yes. Did I order one? Yes. Ā£15! š For a 12cm queen anthurium! Look at it! Itās beautiful! Itās majestic! Itās ermā¦ beautiful! I also got a string of turtles that I murdered forever ago (I canāt even remember how) and a tortum that I also had a while ago that got so infested with spidermites that I gave it the trash treatment. Whatās with these leaves? Picked this anthurium up for $10 at Walmart. Trimmed a lot of dead growth away and off the leaves. Itās been about a month and now this is happening. Iām mostly concerned about the big tall leaf in the first pic. Is it fungus? This diva works overtime to grab your attention, so afraid something will happen to her, I got her aroid mix, filter her water, use a moisture, soil ph meter and hover over her. Will provide a verdict after six months.

Requires high humidity when you first bring it home. It will acclimate a little although quite slowly. Position your Crystallinum close to your humidifier and it wonāt be as fussy as you might expect. Sparkly, Gorgeous and well worth the effort!
