About Mini Monstera
This vine-like plant is native to Thailand and Malaysia where it grows under the leaves of larger trees in tropical places, protected from direct sun while still receiving lots of bright light āļø. Often mistaken for a miniature version of Monstera or Philodendron, the Mini Monstera is actually neither and belongs to a totally different genus. These vining plants have aerial roots that help them climb and hold onto branches as they grow. You may have to wait for your plant to mature before their characteristic split-leaves appear! ā±

Vines dying! #MiniMonstera lost its biggest vine. it turned yellow, then brown, then I clipped it. The rest of the vines look amazing, but I'm worried because most of them are growing from the dead one below where I cut! the end where I cut it is yellowing, too. The soil is moist but mist into I find says this is due to underwatering. help?!

How do I keep her from falling over without packing her soil too much? I just bought a beautiful #MiniMonstera from my local plant shop. Despite being held up by a stake she had completely fallen over in her pot. I asked an employee about caring for her and she said to make sure her soil is really loose to allow for better drainage. I want to make sure she gets the drainage she needs while still having enough support to stay standing. What should I do?

This is Mochii, my mini monstera, a ārare monstera minimaā supposedly. She no longer looks like this š°š every last leaf has yellowed and fallen off, the root system is long and relatively strong, all thatās left is a nub. What am I doing wrong w her? ā¹ļøš help my baby! Those are leaves that fell off that stem but they were still green-yellow so I stuck em in there. Mimi monstera losing leaves? My mini monstera keeps losing its old leaves - the new leaves have good fenstrations, but maybe itās still not enough light? I also know I should change it to a moss pole; the lattice was a failed experiment and I suspect was a proponent of the leaves coming off. Perfect if you want the nice leaf slits from an early leaf stage, unlike the regular Monstera where leaf development has to be at a more mature and advanced stage to start showing the slits/cuts in a leaf.

This plant grows insanely fast. I definitely recommend making sure you have space for it to get large because it will and quickly. Mine has put out four new leaves in the last month or so and is loving the pole I gave it. I keep mine in ~65% humidity under grow lights with spagnum moss about an inch deep covering the soil to help with humidity.

In my experience these (which are not actually monsteras at all) take awhile to start growing and then they have a burst of growth all at once. Personally, Iām obsessed.

She climbs and climbs FAST, needs a pole or stake to stay up otherwise itāll lean and itās harder to straighten her up after that

This is a lovely plant and a very quick grower (I swear it adds a leaf nearly every day) Iāve had this plant for about a month and just repotted it yesterday. This is a plant that manages YOU if you donāt try to manage it. I found it had fungus gnats but using neem oil and aquarium gravel to top dress the soil to inhibit the gnats.

This plant grows like a weed ! Absolutely beautiful climbing plant that will amaze you with every new leaf it puts out. It can put up with a few missed waterings and really is just always pushing out new growth. Definitely a great beginner plant !

Bought her half dead , took her home and gave her sunlight throughout the day daily she got a lot stronger then a couple of months later she let out her first curled leaf she started off with 7 leaves and in about 3 weeks sheās now got 20 and each one a different shape and size and some new huge leaves !! I love her but damn sheās grows fast I literally am starting to run out of room lmao but by far my best plant

I love this plant but it also has attracted so many gnats in my apartment that I just canāt get rid of and it seems to go on and on forever. I repotted and terra-cotta which helped a little bit but itās still a super pest magnet.
