Aglaonema
About Aglaonema
Chinese evergreens have been growing in homes throughout Asia for centuries as symbols of good fortune. They were introduced to the Western world in 1885. Their ancestors were cultivated starting in the 1930s and became especially successful in Florida, where most foliage plants are now produced. 🤞

Finding light for Aglaonema in your home
Aglaonema can tolerate being far from a window and light source.
Place it less than 6 feet from a south-facing window to ensure it receives enough light to survive 💪.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Aglaonema in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Aglaonema
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Aglaonema after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Grow Light? #HappyPlants #Dieffenbachia #Aglaonema I decided to bring a few of babies in to my desk. My office is surrounded by natural light and windows, (there are windows adjacent 3-6 feet from multiple directions) but it’s slightly obscured by the way the cubicle is set up. I bought a grow light, but now second guessing if they need it in here. Do you think they will be fine without it, or would you put a grow light in the middle?

Does my pink splash look like it’s doing ok? I’m wondering if the smaller leaves on the bottom are typical in size or if it needs more light to get bigger leaves. Thanks! #Aglaonema
