I love this philodendron Birkin! The white lines on the large leaves are beautiful. It stretches its leaves out toward the direction of the sun so it really has to be rotated for even growth. Everything I’ve read says it’s easy to care for.

I bought this when I first moved into my apartment almost a year ago, and it has thrived in my bathroom. It’s a pretty hardy plant, and I don’t think I could kill it if I tried.

Likes indirect light, and water every week or so when it’s mostly dry. Seems to be very happy in its well-draining coco coir + perlite mix. Each new leaf that has unfurled has been even more variegated than the last and so rewarding!

I’ve had some ups and downs with my birkin, but overall I love it. Too much light and it can burn or put out pure white leaves, which look cool but can’t photosynthesize - so just watch out for that.
