About Marble Queen Pothos
This variety of pothos is known for its beautifully marbled leaves, which give rise to its name! Feng shui experts say placing pothos in sharp corners or angles in your home can reduce anxiety and stress. 😌
A NASA/ALCA study on the use of common plants for indoor air purification also labeled golden pothos—along with Philodendron and spider plants—as the most effective in removing formaldehyde from the air. 💨

How to fertilize Marble Queen Pothos

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Marble Queen Pothos after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Pothos still leaning towards window after getting upgraded to direct sunlight. Hey folks! I bought what I believe is a marble queen pothos. I had it in indirect sunlight but after some time it started losing vegetation. So I hardened it off and now it enjoys basking up direct sunlight in my south eastern facing window. It’s been here for around 2-3 weeks without sun burn so I don’t think the direct sunlight is negatively affecting it. I’ve been seeing more variegation out of it actually. But, without fail it’s still leaning very close to the window now matter how much sun it gets. I fertilized it a few days ago and wondered if it could be a negative reaction to that. The soil is completely dry so I was wondering if it feels under watered, but I typically let my pothos dry out between waterings. I have three other pothos varieties that don’t seem to be nearly this hooked on direct sun. Is this a cause for concern or do I just have a very sun loving pothoss plant?

My Marble Queen was accidentally left outside too long one evening. The temps dropped, she froze, a lot of the leaves were black/ drooping. I cut those off, she grew back. She has been healthy since then with a lot of new growth, BUT.. #marblequeenpothos Just recently I noticed a little bit of white fuzzy mold on the soil. And several of her leaves have brown spots. Any thoughts on what is causing this or what I should do?

I gave Medusa a haircut. It was painful…for me(lol) but I hope she will thrive. Now I have a bunch to prop. Fun! 1am boredom. Then I snipped a little from scarlet and sage. Sorry for the hectic pictures! #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PothosPack #PropagationStation #MarbleQueenPothos

I needed a full updated pic of Queen Elizabeth Frost.. sometimes you have NO IDEA how much a plant has grown until you compare photos. She has filled out beautifully in about 9 months!! You can see the old photo of when I got her as her profile pic. Just look at her now!! 😜 #happyplants #newgrowth #beforeandafter #marblequeenpothos #plantsmakepeoplehappy #pothos #pothospack #plantaddict #planttherapy #plantlove #jesssjungle

The variegation in my Marble Queen Pothos's newest leaves IS AMAZING! 😍 I always catch myself staring at them when I walk by. She's in an East facing window but also I put a grow light near her and she's been shooting out new gorgeous leaves ever since! #pothospack #pothos #marblequeenpothos #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #newgrowth #planttherapy #theamigos #jesssjungle

My Marble Pothos is struggling. Any advice? Has started getting a lot of sudden yellowing and browning. Is this overwatering? I did try one of those globe watering things in it. Have also tried a grow light recently on it because sunlight has been so short all winter.

What other plant parents say

My plant was beautiful, it was starting to trail and then I overwatered it and almost all of the leaves fell off. From overwatering her I went to the other extreme and under-watered her and she was nearly dying. I gave her a soak through shower placed her in front of the window and she came back to life. She is hanging on no new growth yet but I’m just glad she made it through my mess ups.

Pothos are just such rewarding plants. I’ve had to troubleshot a couple issues with this one - light was too low and it just looked sad - but that was easy to remedy. I was also underwatering at one point but again, easy to remedy. Pothos will give you a heads up when they need a little more (or less) care as long as you’re paying attention to its leaves. I have this plant on top of my bookshelf and it trails down beautifully. Every time I check, there’s a new leaf.
