Strange bumps keep appearing, are these caused by aphids?...

#Ficus #ficus triangularis variegata
1ft to light, indirect
5” pot with drainage

Jora that looks like Scale to me. You’re probably gonna have to use a Neem Oil with other stuff to kill all of them and their eggs. This is the only thing that I’ve found that works. (For me anyway)
Ahh thank you! I have not heard of scale but looking at photos that definitely looks like the problem. It has been in this location for over a month or two with it. Should I treat all the other plants around it too? They don't seem to have the same bumps but not sure where the critters live.
Definitely check the other plants around the infected one. Alcohol on a q-tip and apply to those nasty little buggers. I would treat your other plants just to make sure the scale didn't spread.
@CuriousMayapple I highly recommend Neem Oil. Use it every 7 days until the infestation is gone. Make sure to isolate your plant from your other plants.
Oh no! Poor plant! Looks like you’ve got some good tips, hope it pulls through!
@CuriousMayapple that is definitely scale. You can first use rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball to get the one you see off. Then the next day use Neem Oil.
