How to water fabric pots?

#LemonVerbena

First time using these! πŸ‘€ Anyone using fabric/woven pots? How do you exactly water them? How much? More frequently? Greg tells me 130ml for this pot with 12cm width but I'm not so sure. I followed the advice but the water didn't flow right through. I get the idea that pots being porous provides excellent drainage, so I'm wondering if I gave them enough? lol

@RulerMoonflower Welcome to the Greg community. I actually do not have any experience with those types but cloth pota. But being that the diameter of your pot is just about 4” and 130ml is just a smidge over 4 liquid ounces. But I also don’t know what type of plant it is and what the watering requirements are. If in doubt you could always stick your finger in the soil and see how moist it has gotten.
Ah sorry the plants are rooted lemon verbena cuttings. Thanks for the tip! I think cloth pota? They're very similar because the whole pot is very porous allowing oxygen and water to flow right thru unlike normal plastic pots. Just wondering if they dry out faster vs normal pots.
@RulerMoonflower I so appreciate you taking time to give me the best answer , thanks! Your concern about the cloth container drying out too quickly might be justified. I see that you’re located in Malaysia and depending on the time of year but it seems that your climate is pretty much hot and humid throughout the year and if you’re plant is outside I’m guessing that wouldn’t happen very fast. But you are the better judge of that than I. Happy Growing!
