Jatropha multifida
About Jatropha multifida
Jatropha multifida is a relatively rare houseplant 🌿 that is easy to grow and needs regular watering to thrive. They do best in long-lasting, direct light ☀️ and should be less than 1 foot from a window.
Jatropha multifida likes soil that is well draining. Your plant shouldn't need added fertilizers if you repot each time it doubles in size.
Jatropha multifida belongs to the Jatropha genus, and is native to the Tropical Americas.
⚠️ Jatropha multifida is extremely dangerous if consumed. If you, a family member, or a pet has ingested any amount of plant material contact Poison Control, US (800) 222-1222, or your veterinarian immediately. These plants are not recommended for homes with children, cats, or dogs.

How to fertilize Jatropha multifida
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Jatropha multifida after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Jatropha Multifida (coral plant) seeds and germination My coral plant has grown fruit this year and I want to try to germinate the seeds. Anyone have any experience with this plant or just growing from seeds in general? I've only ever done vegetables from seed and alocasia from corms. I just love this plant. Its such a trooper and unique looking. Plus, the hummingbirds love her. I'd love to raise it's progeny. #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #newgrowth #propagationstation #newplantmom #plantcorner #jatrophamultifida
