About Calico Kitten
Plants in the Crassula genus are amazingly diverse and come in an incredible assortment of sizes and colors. Many of the ones we grow today are native to a small region in South Africa, which makes that diversity even more amazing! They're super low maintenance plants that can handle long periods of drought, so great if you're prone to skipping waters (we won't tell). 🫢 Make sure they get plenty of sunlight and that they're planted in a pot with a drainage hole and they'll be happy as can be!
Taxonomy
Crassula pellucida 'Variegata'
Crassula
Crassulaceae
Saxifragales
Also known as
Crassula marginalis rubra 'Variegata'

How to fertilize Calico Kitten
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Calico Kitten after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Diseased Crassula Hi everyone! One of my crassulas is looking diseased and I was wondering if there is anything I can do for it? There is white fluff on the plant and whilst most leaves seem healthy, some are shrivelled or beginning to shrivel. #PestControl #Crassula #GollumJade #Jade

My plant grew these weird roots on one of the stalks. I was underwatering it for a while, when I finally learned to water properly the other stalks recovered but this one didn't. Any ideas what to do with it? #Crassula

What kind of fertilizer does anyone tecommend for my jade plant shown here? Also Greg does not like the pot that it is in but it does not recommend a different one. What pot recommendations do you have? #Crassula

Any advice for these pups? I got this Crassula over summer and it started growing pups and losing its adult leaves. I kinda liked the idea of cutting a little below the 3 pups on the top to see how it would grow (check marking on second photo) but I’m scared it may be difficult for it to grow roots.. I’ve started to remove the ones toward the bottom of the plants once they’ve grown big enough. I’m hoping i can keep the momma alive. Pictures at the end of the pups in their new pots 🤗 #Crassula #CactusClique #PropagationStation #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents

more pics from today 🌱 Star cactus- two new (slow growing) leaves in the middle, they have slowly been getting taller, there is even a new 3rd leaf under the two but you can’t see it just yet. 🪴 Haworthia ‘savanna’- she wasn’t loving it too much under my grow lights (haworthia prefer less light) so I moved her to the top shelf, with no grow light, & it seems to be liking it better. Lifesaver cactus- after the bloom, she started going down hill, (my own fault) because of a lack of water for too long. It’s doing a little better now, & has put some new growth out. 🌱 Dancing bones cactus- prickles is pretty chill, but tends to like a bit more water these days. She does have some new growth but I’m still learning his habits. 👀 Calico kitten crassula- new growth, & cool colors 🌈 I love the leaf shape it’s like little hearts 💕 and the colors are stunning also. #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #NewGrowth #GrowLights #GrowingSuccs #HappyPlants #Haworthia #StarCactus #Crassula #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #LifesaverCactus #Succulents #DancingBones

Can I repot this plant even though it's October? My springtime crassula has finally grown long enough to tip her pot over. Conventional wisdom says to wait until spring, but I don't want to have her resting on her lower leaves for that long. Would repotting her right now be a bad move? #Crassula #crassulaposting #pottingadvice

Should I repot calico kitten? So she’s growing great tbh and I hate to upset her. She’s grown outwards bigger than i anticipated and her little arms have grown roots. I was thinking of finding her a bigger pot so her arms could root rather than float. Or should I just leave her be? #Crassula #CalicoKitten #
