Finding light for Ceropegia simoneae in your home
Ceropegia simoneae may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Ceropegia simoneae in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Ceropegia simoneae
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Ceropegia simoneae after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Propagation Method? Despite my #rookieplantmom mishaps…Pepita is growing and flourishing y’all! She is my plant baby that has done the best thus far. I’m so proud. 🥹 💚 I’m going to take a stab at #Propagating her and reintroducing the offsets into the pot. I’ve seen a couple of methods (water…soil…butterfly…) and am curious 🧐 about what has worked for others. What say ye? (Note: That’s not a grow light and I do not use one. I just had to highlight her splendor & glory with my desk lamp 😆.) #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #SucculentSquad

My leaves are curled I think I gave her a little to much h2o lol. How do I help her?

This is Marley. I don’t think she’s doing well. She hasn’t grown out much but she doesn’t look dried up either! The little petals on the side came off on their own. Any suggestions? #StringOfHearts

This is not a string of hearts. I had a Jack Herer plant with pix in veg and bloom. When all is said and done, the plant is hung upside down to dry. Hence the name Dead Jack. Sorry for the confusion. #StringOfHearts

White layer on string of hearts Hi there! I just recently noticed white spots appearing on a lot of my string of hearts leaves. Can anyone help me identify the problem and solution? Thank you!

I hit the #stringofhearts jackpot! A local nursery was having a “fill the box” sale, with any items you could fit in a box lid for $20. This included all of these strings of hearts!! It took forever (and they survived a racoon on my front porch the night before potting), but here’s hoping they like their new home and begin to thrive! They had some awesome roots! ❤️❤️🌿 I’m not really feeling the strings with the macrame I added them to (they keep tangling), but I’m going to let them acclimate for a week before moving them again. 😅 #StringOfHearts #BeforeAndAfter #

What’s the issue? What is going on with my string of hearts? Is this a watering or lighting issue? Delayed transplant shock? Any advice would be greatly appreciated 🙏 #StringOfHearts

It's blooming! 🌸💞 It started as a few strands of water props at my workplace last year. Then it got potted earlier this spring (into a shared pot with an inch plant that has been vining non-stop). After lots of sun in a south-facing window and fertilizer over the summer months, the #stringofhearts has some teeny blossoms. I'm celebrating by getting my own #SOH from the plant store around the corner from my workplace 🤩 #bloomingsuccs #plantsmakepeoplehappy #whatthesuccwednesday
