Finding light for Pincushion Peperomia in your home
Pincushion Peperomia may have difficulty thriving, and will drop leaves 🍃, without ample sunlight.
Place it less than 3 feet from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Pincushion Peperomia in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Pincushion Peperomia
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Pincushion Peperomia after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Hi y’all! 👋 DISCLAIMER: I end with asking for more ✨help✨ if you power through to the end 😅 Throughout my summer of filling my sun room of plants i have asked questions and received amazing advice from so many of you along the way 🫶🏼 Just wanted to pop in to give an update, would love to know if anyone has been following along 😊 … will try to keep it short n sweet - Miley: after a trim I got THIRTEEN cuttings! Just potted a few with others still in water. I also separated a small section of Neon Pothos i had once potted with the #marblepothos and added one of my spider babies! - Peter Parker: My tray of #SpiderPlant babies are rooting like CRAZY, been fun watching the roots through the bottom of the dish. Peter has since replaced every offshoot i have trimmed yet this summer 😅 - Other Cuttings: I think i successfully rooted false christmas cactus! I still have turtles which havent died off AND i have been trying to root a lucky bamboo for months and since placing with my pothos cuttings its has finally rooted! 🥳 - Grinchy: I wish i had a photo of him rooted! I planted him nice and deep (check out his gallery pre trim) as the roots were quite high. I have just noticed their stems showing dark color and hope i havent done harm! before repotting i the original plant TOOK OFF, if anyone has made it this far reading would love to hear opinions on what could be causing this 🙏 thinking maybe a possible over hydration or change in sun recently switched windows and is more direct #pincushionpeperomia p.s. I wish I could tag more than one plant

Aloe Help Hello, my aloe was being over watered and got all mushy, root rot, etc. I pulled out and saved what I could. Is there a way to save it? Will it root again if I put root powder on it? #aloe I have 3 of these saved pieces. -Sara

Help! My plant started dying all of a sudden. About a week ago it looked very healthy and all of a sudden it looks like this. I noticed this about a day before I last watered and the situation has only gotten worse. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Tall and not upright #Peperomia my pincushion is getting pretty tall and the tallest part isn’t erect but limps over. It’s still growing and looks healthy otherwise, but I’ve looked at photos of other ones on here that are standing upright. Is that normal? I’ve assumed it’s too heavy so I’ve been propping it up with a small stick. It’s in a small pot now (in my photo) but it’s grown much more since. Should I repot it?
-
How easy would it be to Prop? I would love to have more than one “trunk”, my first thought would be to cut above the first limb? How does one propagate a #PincushionPeperomia ? Any tips and tricks? #Peperomia

Not healthy? My pincushion has slowly been dying since I’ve gotten it. We had to take a whole half out because it died. The surviving side is hardly surviving. I’ve tried less watering, watering recommended by planta and Greg, I’ve repotted it in terracotta and a mix of soil and perlite.

My beautiful, lush and full #PincushionPeperomia suffered some wind damage today and I had to do some chopping 🫤 if anyone wants a cutting please let me know #sharingiscaring #propagationstation #happyplants #greggang

What other plant parents say
This plant is very strange. He continues to grow quickly, but does not like to be transplanted to a larger pot. Once I moved him to a bigger pot after he doubled in size, he stopped growing and the little leaf sprout looking things started to fall off 🤦♀️..so back to a small pot he went. Now he’s back to growing again. I’m not moving that sucker unless he busts up out of the tiny pot😂😂
I could’ve bought her with issues so keep that in mind. I ordered mine, and within a week each leaf went brown and mushy. I have chopped off the healthy tops and have planted one into soil, taken a healthy leaf to propagate and have one healthy stem that I will leave to callous and then plant so fingers crossed 🤞🏻
