About Aglaonema Spitfire
Chinese evergreens have been growing in homes throughout Asia for centuries as symbols of good fortune. They were introduced to the Western world in 1885. Their ancestors were cultivated starting in the 1930s and became especially successful in Florida, where most foliage plants are now produced. 🤞

How to fertilize Aglaonema Spitfire
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Aglaonema Spitfire after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Repotting fail: my Aglaonema Pink Siam Aurora is still leaning Recently, I had to repot my Aglaonema Pink Siam Aurora. Its roots were cramped, and the plant had started to lean too much. I also noticed it had grown slightly crooked over the past few months, so I took the opportunity to try and fix that too. I did everything carefully—used a well-draining mix, prepped the new pot properly, and watered lightly. Still, even with the right conditions, the plant remained tilted. I didn’t want to rely on a garden stake, but in the end, I had no choice. It wasn’t the result I expected, but that’s part of growing indoor plants. Not everything goes as planned, and that’s okay. What matters is that the Aglaonema Pink Siam Aurora is still thriving. Its vibrant pink and green leaves are stunning, and it continues to be one of the most beautiful plants in my collection. Even with a few imperfections, it brings a lot of life to the space. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #FreshLeafFriday #FreshFeaturedFriday

Does anyone have any tips for bottom leaves turning yellow and curling inwards? I just got this a week ago and have only watered it once after the soil was very dry #Aglaonema #ChineseEvergreen

Just wanted to share some progress on my #Aglaonema ‘Pink Siam Aurora’ Simply a jewel. She's now showing more green. I see she's a slow grower - gonna take some time to see her take over a pot. But took these pics today and couldn't help but post it here. Isn't she lovely? #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PlantTherapy #FreshLeafFriday

Felt compelled to share this. My first #Aglaonema, Bibi 🩷🌱 When she arrived, she only had three little leaves - all light pink and delicate. One of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen. She's been with us for three months now and thriving. She was the one who started it all, really. Since I've been sharing some of my favorite (most - if not all lol) with you the past few days, thought I'd show you some new pictures of Bibi today. Isn't she pretty? #Aglaonema #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy
