How to fertilize Majesty Palm
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Majesty Palm after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Hi! I noticed my majesty palm is getting brown leaves and the tips are getting brown and crispy. Does this mean it doesn’t have enough water ? #MajestyPalm

@SuperbRaspfern Hey Sensae! long time, no Greg app!!! Don’t even ask!! Long story I’ll share when I am fully recovered. I do have a question for u tho. I just repotted some plants, ones needing larger pots, props etc. In doing so I used 1-1/2 10 qt bags of Mollys plant mix. I have 2 more coming but also some huge ones to repot!! U know them, they’re the ones u don’t think belong!!! lol. I have more but it only lets me tag one plant (if there’s a secret way to tag more, please share). Anyway, my question is this: our justification for only using SuperThrive as fertilizer due to new soil/ mix have the nutrients to carry plant til next repot; if I leave some of old mix in pot, just for space-filler; nowhere near plant or roots, is that acceptable & if so, would that change the need for a full-fledged fertilizer at repot?? (I sounded like Cap’n Turbot from Paw Patrol!! If u imbibe) lol I’ll explainexplan if needed. Justt please don’t judge I’m just trying not to go bankrupt from buying plant mix!! Thanks and I miss u bestie!!❤️

Is there any hope? My poor plant! I was in the hospital for 9 days so my Majesty Palm wasn't getting taken care of. All 3 of the palms(?) died so I had to cut them down. Anyway, I'm wondering if there is any hope in bringing this back. Please! 🙏🏼 Any help/guidance/advice would be greatly appreciated! 😢 Thank you!!!

Is my Majesty Palm healthy? Hello everyone, I have had my plant for around 40 days. When I got her she had so many leaves it was so full. I watered it couple times (every 8 days) and I started to realize from the second time I watered it that the soil was staying moist past the 12th day so I didn’t water it until the first two inches were drier cause I did not want to overwater it especially that at the time It did not have drainage holes. Few weeks after, I noticed holes in some leaves and it was browning. I was confused on whether overwatering it is what caused that or underwatering because I was scared to water it until the 2 inches were dry and then the leaves changed in color. So I did some research and I realized that I had the wrong soil which It was suggested to me when I got it. So 2 weeks and a half ago I replaced the soil to miracle gro for palms. I pruned the leaves closer to bottom with clean scissors and the ones that had holes for the plant to focus on the healthy leaves. And i drilled holes in my pot. Ever since, it has been draining well and staying moist for less often and went back to normal watering cycle, closer to 8-9 days. The leaves look healthier now but 2 big leaves are brown from the top. Is it okay to cut the parts of the leaf that is brown? Does my plant look happy? Is there anything else I need to do to make her happy? Did I stress my plant too much? I am really scared that I am making my plant sad! Can it be saved? I recently rescued this #MajestyPalm from my local Buy Nothing group. When I got it home and started inspecting it I noticed some mold on the outer “husk” around the base of the plant. I can’t quite tell how extensive it is, but I’m concerned there is some underlying rot issues going on. My original plan was to trim these pieces back as much as possible and inspect the roots when I repot it in better soil. Any advice or guidance before I tackle this project? #MoldControl #RootRot #PlantRescueClub #RescuePlants

I bought Neil via the Internet and he arrived in mediocre shape with a lot of crushed leaves and one stalk. He looked like he was making a decent recovery until my two usually well-mannered puppies dug him up out of the pot. It was a disaster and all but one stalk was damaged. Upon pruning the destroyed parts, I discovered he had small white webs forming everywhere. I washed him all over lightly with a very diluted dish soap. He is hanging in there and I’m shocked at how resilient he is. It’s going to be a long road but I’m hoping to help him recover and flourish.
