Look what I got! You were right it’s a really cool book. Lots of good information. I’m not sure I want to do decorating with succulents, but who knows. I might be taking a pottery class so I could make some terra-cotta pots in the future. These are more recent pictures of my props, (so I’m gonna repost these and delete my earlier post if you already saw it. 😅) They are doing good so far, I’m keeping them under my grow lights, & watering them *LIGHTLY* every two or so days when the tray looks dry. For me it’s easy to prop them & get them started, the hard part is remembering to water them once they can no longer rely on the mother leaf for nutrients/water. They dry out much quicker than a mature succulent so you have to be sure to keep them moist while they are in that stage. I have a lot of time invested in these guys, so I really want them to grow into their own plant. Like I said I have success in getting them started, it’s the keeping them alive once they are on their own thing that I struggle with 😩. • 1&4. Varigated Graptopetalum ‘Titubans’ 2-3. What a difference some love and care does to a plant… 🌱 Thought I’d share some photos of a couple of my plants when I first got them vs now since many of y’all loved my ruby glow! The before being the top photos, and then present day on the bottom… -Echeveria serosa ‘Mexican Firecracker’ (4 month difference) -Pachyphytum ‘Baby Fingers’ (6 month difference) -Sedeveria ‘Pink Ruby’ (6 month difference) -Peperomia graveolens ‘Ruby Glow’ (4 month difference) These have been a joy to see grow and flourish. Happy Tuesday #GregGang 😊 Spent the evening watering the yard plants and saw a deer drinking out of the birdbath. 🥺 how cute is that, the deer aren’t very scared of people where I live, they are pretty used to living around humans and will let you get relatively close, and don’t scare to easily. It’s fun to be able to watch them up close but it’s not fun when they eat your plants.. I’ve been covering up my plants lately because the deer keep eating them. 😭 2. Calibrachoa is doing great the colors are so vibrant! 3. Purple Verbena 4. Pachyphytum that is flowering ! My first flower for this little guy! 5. My airplant has a little pup attached to it, my grandma gave me this airplant for Easter. I had never seen a pup on one before, it’s been getting bigger but very slowly lol. Wanted to share some pictures for #succulentsunday 🌿😊 1/2- a baby I found on my pachyphytum ‘Starburst’, this is its first baby it’s put off since I’ve had it. Yay! 3- Sedeveria ‘Dark Elf’ looks like it may be starting to grow a flower, it has grown one before and looked similar. 4- Lipstick Echeveria, I need to repot this one but its leaves are looking much better after accidentally burning it when I first brought it back outside for summer 😬 5- Silver Snake Plant- is putting off a pup! Hey #Greggers it’s been a while since I have posted an update on my #Succulents so here’s what’s new in my oasis 🪴 My graptosedum Cali sunset is soo close to blooming, I can’t wait to see these star like white flowers 🥹 I’m very happy because this is my first bloom that formed with my care, instead of me buying it with the bloom stalk already established. Pachyphytum ‘Aquamarine’- she has grown a lot, even though she drops leaves sometimes she is very healthy and happy, she has gotten so full & tall since I got her last summer. 🌱 Calico hearts- I moved her back under my grow lights, instead of a southern window, because I want her to have those goregous stress colors/speckles. She is a favorite plant/succulent of mine, im so proud that I’ve kept her looking good & over all healthy! She has some new growth as usual 🙌🏻 Echeveria ‘pink diamond’- she has been doing alright, not as good as she could be but we will get there 💕 Anacampseros retusa- violet and her baby are slowly getting bigger they aren’t as fast of growers in comparison to their cousin anacampseros sunrise 🌄 but still just as pretty 😊 #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #Succulent #NewGrowth #GrowingSuccs #GrowLights #BlooingSuccs #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #Echeveria #Anacampseros #Pachyphytum #Graptosedum #CalicoHearts
