How to fertilize Sand Dollar Cactus
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Sand Dollar Cactus after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Hello everyone I have had my Sand Dollar Cactus for about a month. Do these plants stay the same height or do they grow larger? Has anyone had any luck with any small pups growing from this plant? #SandDollarCactus

Plant of the day - Astrophytum caput-medusae Hi everyone, for today’s plant of the day, I wanted to showcase a unique and rare plant that deserves more attention. It has beautiful tubercles that protrude from the almost non-existent body, and it has a large, fat taproot. These adaptation have allowed it to survive the harsh environments in parts of Nuevo León Mexico. Although, it is highly adapated to life there; it is facing threats to its population through poaching and livestock trampling. I would love for everyone to share more information on this plant, or even share with us you’re own plant if the day! I will try to post one of these everyday, so please join the plant of the day hashtag if interested #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #HappyPlants #plantoftheday

Please say that white fuzz is not some kind of infestation! It was a little fuzzy and I sprayed it with insecticide. So now it looks calcified.

Is this plant healthy Hi everyone, this is my bishops cactus. I am new to their care and am wondering if I’m doing a good job so far. Also I’m he lighter flakes of soil on top are not pest just previous soil from a different pot that it was in. #CactusClique
