@FitBrowallia :( happens !!
Take him out, clean the roots, cut off all the dead leaves, get super moss and put it in a zip lock bag, wet the moss till it’s damp(soak it and then drain out the excess water) then put the roots in the moss close up the zip lock, blow air into it until it’s like a balloon and write the date on it and what plant it is…see if there’s any growth in a week or two even if it’s just one green little sprout
@SupermanAlbo thanks
@SupermanAlbo never bought moss any suggestions
@FitBrowallia Your Umbrella Tree seems to be going through a bit of a rough patch, but don't start planning the funeral just yet! Give that plant detective instinct a chance to shine. First, gently scratch the bark of one of the stems. If you uncover a hint of green underneath, that's a sign of life still lingering. It might be having a diva moment, dropping leaves for attention, but there's hope. However, if the whole plant looks like it's pulled a vanishing act, it might be time to have a little mourning session. Keep an eye on it, provide consistent care, and you might just bring this diva back from the brink of plant drama!
@JungleDreamer thanks again it’s ☠️
@FitBrowallia yeah sometimes we just have to let them give up the ghost πŸ‘»πŸͺ΄. It’s tough but then again we don’t want to belabor it either. It harder to say goodbye to something we’ve put a lot of effort into. We’ve got a green recycle ♻️ bin so I try to send them off with β€œHappy Life in the green landfill” πŸ˜πŸ˜œπŸ˜†
@FlawlessCassava yes you’re right thanks
@JungleDreamer @FlawlessCassava @MariansOasis @SupermanAlbo thank you for the kind words. I now have an empty pot to fill what’s next πŸͺ΄
@FitBrowallia love the positive attitude can’t wait for the update on repurposing of that pot …. Just before you pot a new plant, give the pot a good scrub to remove any remaining soil, debris, or potential pathogens from the old plant.
