Wrinkly leaves

My #BeadsLampranthus has very wrinkly leaves. It’s been going on for awhile, and I’ve always assumed it needed more water. Recently when I add water it runs straight through the soil and out the drainage hole. I’m soaking it now to try to rehydrate it, but wondering if there’s something else going on I need to address? Repot with new soil?

How do the roots look? Could it be overwatered and has rot causing it not to hydrate?
Yeah I would take it out, check the root situation, if you have healthy roots, or still have some roots that’s good. πŸ‘πŸΌ it’s also possible the soil is compacted and unable to absorb water, and nutrients so you should maybe change it, and then try watering it, (if it doesn’t have root rot). It really just looks thirsty to me.
