Dying succulent

#help
1ft to light, direct
4” pot with drainage
Last watered 3 years ago
Hi, it looks like it possibly withered/rotted due to being overwatered (I have unfortunately done this a lot!) I’m not sure what to do to try to save it, but in the future maybe try to β€œneglect” your succulents more, especially if it’s your winter season, I’ve found that I have way better succulent success that way! Good luck!
Thank you Sarah!
The picture is a tad blurry, so I can’t see it too well, but I agree with @super_sarah_s. It def looks like it got root rot or something. I don’t think there’s anything you can really do at this point from what I can see. In winter I water my succulents once every month or so at the most. I see your pot has drainage and you’re using succulent soil which is good!! Just def be cautious about overwatering in the future. Sorry about your haworthia!! The same thing happened to the first cactus I ever had, it was a cute lil’ golden barrel. He got root rot and just withered away. RIP. So don’t feel too bad, it happens!
