@BigtimeHoupara Hello Bambi, Iβve spoken to a lot of people about this and in my experience too, I believe the key to re-flowering is simply making sure the plant stays healthy and growing. If your amaryllis has finished flowering, cut off the spent blooms. Make a point of only removing the spent flowers and leaving the flower stalk until it turns yellow or begins to wither. The flower stalk is capable of photosynthesis and will help create new energy that will recharge the bulb.
Having said that, Iβve been growing these for years and only get it to bloom in March and then October.
I cut the leaves back every year after the second bloom in Oct-Nov, right till the top of the bulb and it re-grows and blooms around March again.
Hope this helps, Happy Growing!
