Ants moved in 😱
#VariegatedDwarfUmbrellaTree I adopted this girl from the previous owner of the apartment and I just noticed that hundreds of ants have made home on the branches, leaves and soil. Is it harmful for the plant? If yes, how can I get rid of them?? 😣

Take it into the shower and blast them off. You will likely have stragglers, but get some gloves on and physically remove them and squish them. Or, you could put a product like Terro out to "poison" them, but if they potentially have a nest inside the pit, that is where they'd be carrying that poison back to and there is always some slight potential of it affecting the plant.
