How do I get my lipstick cutting to root!?

#LipstickVine *curly lipstick.I first had her in water but after so long of not rooting and started to shrivel,I moved her to a moss propbox.she gained her strength back but it's been months ...and now has little fuzzy flower bud starts but still no roots πŸ€” I got got plenty of the stem with leafs removed.i don't want her to die 😫 I just did snip from the base in hopes it was just to hardened off ..
That is so pretty! I hope she will root for you! Did you try using some rooting hormone? Or possibly removing more of the leaves?
Yes and yes πŸ˜† and that's saying something cus I never bother with rooting hormones,I am thinking I should try again and remove a couple more since they are starting to look more parched πŸ€” and thank you! I love the dark burgundy to its under leafs!! 😍
I think at this point I would take off the leaves and it seems there are enough nodes to cut it in half. Then put back in and see if it doesn’t have to keep all the leaves alive it might throw out some roots. I don’t see how a little rooting compound couldn’t hurt. πŸ€ͺ🌱❀️πŸ₯°πŸ’•
May want to remove the flowers, she might be putting all the resources into flowering and not making roots. Also maybe keep the cutting anyway from other plants that are flowing as they can help encourage other plants the flower. Rooting hormone might be a good idea or just putting the stem into soil might even get her to root. I hope she roots soon
