I just got a starfruit tree and I want to help calm it from the stress of shipping, any ideas?
Last watered 1 year ago
Hi Will ๐Ÿ‘‹ I'm not sure there's a lot you can do to help her get over the shopping but... I would say finding her happy place as quick as you can is probably the best way to help her acclimatise! ๐Ÿ’š

I don't know much about them but I do know they like FULL sun ๐ŸŒž (nice to find a plant that does! Lmao ๐Ÿคฃ) and when potted watered quite often so her soil doesn't dry out completely. She likes moving air and mid to high humidity (above 50%!). I wouldn't repot her for a least a couple of weeks, let her settle in first (as repotting is a whole other kind of shock, and she doesn't need it right now! Lol ๐Ÿคฃ)and when you do I'd go for a coir/ perlite/ fine bark mix

Hope that helps a little! If you can find a spot where she getting the right light you can work on the rest. And read up! Lol I grabbed that info in 10 minutes so I'm sure there's lots of good guides out there to help you, here's just one of them

Good luck! When you get fruit please show them off to us! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’š X
Well... they actually don't like full sun, more like partial shade
