How to fertilize Garlic
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Garlic after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

I find this amusing for some reason, but I wanted to share my lil garlic sprouts 😂 they’ve been in water for maybe 3ish days and are definitely going in soil at some point. Anyways, here’s my lil bathroom garlic sprouts. They’re in the bathroom so kitty doesn’t get to em! #Garlic #bathroomplants #vegetables #seasoning #cookingwithplants #PlantShelfie #roots #sprout #waterpropagation

So, this day I was walking near a compost mountain near my garden and I saw some suspicious sprouts, those sprouts that I can identify everywhere because I grew thousands of those plants before... SOMEONE THREW AWAY AN ENTIRE GARLIC HEAD! It was cold outside so I took those garlic sprouts at home and this is my garlic growing station #propagationstation #garlic #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict

My garlic is turning yellow and droopy, it’s in full sunlight in the Nordic close to 12 hours of full sun per day. My feeling is that I have over watered it as I have a bottom watering pot to which I added less than half a liter of water couple of days ago but have only top watered it for 2 months and it looked theiving until now. Any tips on how to improve my care? First time growing garlic and I’m used to Chilies and Tomatoes. #Garlic

#Garlic #foodgarden Hi friends! I have been sprouting garlic in water for the past few weeks. The stalks are doing really well and the original cloves have started forming roots. So my question for you all is: should I leave my garlic in water or move it to some dirt? Thanks!

Um so my little garlic experiment exploded in growth. Apparently the green shoots can be eaten? Also how does new garlic form from this? Someone satiate my curiosity before I turn to google. Thanks!
