Help

My Hoya has an issue. This is a pest, right? What do I do to rescue? Thanks for any help!
0ft to light, direct
6” pot with drainage
Last watered 2 years ago
I’ve never dealt with this personally but it looks like mealybugs. I think you can treat them with insecticide soap. I’d wipe down the whole plant and the pot too just to be certain.
I just treated a money tree at my office with neim oil , dish soap and water. I mixed it all in a water bottle and sprayed the plant leaves and stems twice a day until the fungus gnats were gone. I also wiped away some of the bugs on the leaves with a soft cloth.

With Neil oil try and treat the plant out of direct sunlight , neim oil sometimes burns leaves.
Mealie bug; grab a qtip, dip it in alcohol & remove them. Spray the plant down with your choice of pest prevention every 4/5 days & make sure it’s not near any other plants.
