Should I repot?

Curious to know if this pot should be upsized or if the soil should be replaced!

If so, I was thinking of a mix of 2 parts potting soil, 1 1 part orchid bark, and 1 part perlite.

Thoughts?

@PoignantEllisia as for the soil mix, trust me, a good chunky aroid mix will do the job just fine. They love it. I do not recommend potting mix for them, although I do encourage research, of course. Mine are all in the mix I told you
Definitely time to up size the pot two inches or slightly more. That one’s on the brink of being root bound. Gotta give its rootsies some room to stretch!
First, as for the soil, for Anthuriums I found that they enjoy a soilless chunky aroid mix. I use peat moss, perlite, pine bark, charcoal, coco fiber. They love it.

As for the repotting, I would worry about the season. My Clarinervium has very thick roots, so sometimes it looks like it's rootbound, but it's just the size of the roots. I am not entirely sure in your case it's the best time/case to do it.

But I would think it's good to hear others too
@Kingdoubletap1 any suggestions on good soil mixes for this plant?
@Gustavo that's a good point. I don't think this is the best soil mix for the plant.

I'm leaning towards picking up an upsize pot and just repotting into a more well draining soil, and if I notice the roots popping off, I can put it in the larger pot
Here are some pics to illustrate what I mean
Here’s what my mix for anthurium, philodendron and some others looks like :)
@Gustavo darn! I've been meaning to pick up horticultural charcoal and coco coir/fiber, etc!

Okay, I will give it a shot!
@PoignantEllisia it was life changing for me! Especially because I grow a lot of philodendrons! Charcoal I was a bit worried about but research convinced me, especially because I worry a lot about my plants gettting sick and it works wonders with bacterial stuff, besides working as a helper to aeration in this case. Hope you like it!
